  1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Rochna Servicios y Asesorías SpA, operating as Seraf Softlanding Services, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 76.953.764-3. Its legal representative is Marianne Rochna Bórquez.

For anything related to personal data, including exercising your rights, write to contacto@seraf.cl.

  2. What data we handle, and whose

We handle very little data, and the site itself stores none.

    • If you book a meeting from this site: first and last name, email, company, phone number and what you tell us about the relocation (how many people are moving and when). The booking is made through a Google Calendar appointment schedule and becomes an event in Seraf’s calendar.
    • If you message us on WhatsApp: your number and the conversation.
    • If your company contracts a Seraf service to relocate you or your family: the data each procedure requires (for example, identity and immigration documents, contact and housing details, and your family’s data when the service includes it). We receive it from the company that hires us, or from you during the service, and its handling is also governed by the contract with that company.
    • If you appear on the site with a testimonial or a photo: your name, title, company and image, with your authorization.
    • If you only visit the site: the usual technical server records (IP address, browser type, pages visited), used to keep the site working and secure.

We do not ask for a tax ID, passport, date of birth, salary or health data through the site. We do not handle data of children under 14 except what the company or their parents provide for a contracted service.

  3. What we use it for, and on what legal basis

    PurposeLegal basis (Law 21.719)
Scheduling the meeting and getting back to youPre-contractual steps that you yourself request (art. 13 c).
Delivering the service your company contractedPerformance of the contract (art. 13 c) and the legal obligations that come with it.
Publishing your testimonial or photoYour consent (art. 12), which you can withdraw at any time.
Keeping the site working and secureSeraf’s legitimate interest in the security of the service (art. 13 d).

We do not use your data for marketing or commercial campaigns. We do not sell it or share it with other companies for their own purposes. We make no automated decisions and build no profiles with your data.

  4. Who else sees your data

To operate, Seraf relies on providers that process data on our behalf and under contract:

    • Google (Google Workspace): our email, our calendar and the booking calendar you see on the contact page. When you open that page, Google may store a cookie in your browser under its own privacy policy, even if you do not book anything.
    • Cloudflare: hosts the site and keeps technical visit records for a short period.
    • Meta (WhatsApp): if you message us there, the conversation goes through its servers.

Beyond these providers, we only share data with the company that contracted the service for you, or where the law requires it.

  5. Your data leaves Chile

The providers above operate in the United States and other countries. Chile’s Personal Data Protection Agency has not yet published its list of countries with adequate protection; in the meantime, each transfer relies on the data processing terms we have accepted with each provider, with safeguards equivalent to those of Chilean law.

  6. How long we keep it

    CasePeriod
You booked a meeting or wrote to us, and no contract followed12 months from the last exchange. Then we delete the email, the conversation and the calendar event.
Your company contracted a serviceFor the duration of the service and, afterwards, the periods Chilean law requires (6 years for accounting and tax records).
Testimonials and photosUntil you withdraw your authorization.
Technical recordsThe days the hosting provider retains them.
  7. How we protect it

    • The whole site is encrypted (HTTPS) and has no database of its own: there is nothing to leak from the web.
    • Seraf’s email and calendar are used only by authorized Seraf staff.
    • Providers work under data processing agreements.
    • If a security breach occurred, we would record it, report it to the Personal Data Protection Agency and, where applicable, notify you.
  8. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, to object to a use, to take it to another provider (portability) or to block it temporarily.

How: write to contacto@seraf.cl with your name, which data and what you need. We acknowledge receipt and reply in writing within 30 calendar days at most, extendable once by another 30 if the case requires it; a blocking request is handled within 2 business days. If the answer is no, we explain why.

If you gave us your consent for something (for example, publishing a testimonial), you can withdraw it at any time through the same email, without affecting what was done before.

  9. If we do not respond

If we do not reply in time or we reject your request, you can file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency within 30 business days of our reply, or of the deadline for it.

  10. Where your data comes from

From you, when you book, write or contract. Or from the company that contracts the service for you, which must be authorized to provide it; in that case we inform you of this processing when we first contact you.

  11. Changes to this policy

This policy is published here with its date and version. If something that affects you changes, we let you know by email when we have a way to reach you.
